Review of The Land: Forging (Book 2)

As with book 1, I listened to this book on Audible. I liked book 2 better than book 1, however, again some of the personality traits of the main character annoy me, specifically his sexualization of every woman with even the slightest attractiveness and his juvenile and immature joke at times. However, I'm a girl, so that may be how some guys do think. The main character's reactions sometimes seem over the top, and he accepts things somewhat nonchalantly. This, however does not make me dislike the book or story, just the character. The author also likes to use the same sayings and metaphors repeatedly. I LOVED the dungeon and puzzles and action in this book--much more complex and interesting than book 1! I stayed up until 4 AM listening to find out what would happen next. Once again, the narrator was really GREAT!
